Frequently Asked Question's

What are your available hours?

My available hours are Monday through Friday, 6:45am to 4:45pm. Each family will have contracted hours to meet theeir working needs.

What is your space like?
We use the main floor of my house for daycare. We use the kitchen/dining room, bathroom, living room and master bedroom. I have a large fenced in backyard and a park just around the block or Hoover Elementary school that we occasionally will walk to.

What meals are provided?
Children are fed a healthy breakfast, lunch and snack every day while in my care. I participate in the Providers Choice Food Program.

What certifications do you have?
I have completed the following required courses for licensing: Developmentally Appropriate Behavior Guidance, Abusive Head Trauma (AHT), Supervising for Safety, Sudden Unexplained Infant Death (SUID), and I am First Aid/CPR certified. I have also taken the required C.A.R.S. class to transport children. I am still current on my Medical Assistant certificate as well.

What do parents supply?
Parents are asked to supply diapers/diaper ointment and extra clothes to keep here in case of any accidents. Weather appropriate clothing is required (snow pants, boots matts, mittens) sunscreen/bug spray and shoes that are easy to play outside in.

Do you offer a curriculum?
Yes, I follow a play-based curriculum and like to teach as learning opportunities are naturally brought up by the kids. We add in field trips to enhance the learning as well.
